Vindhyan Ecology and Natural History Foundation, VENHF, is a registered non-profit organisation working to protect the environment and natural resources of the Vindhya Range in India.

It was registered in 2012 and is based in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh. Its flagship programme, Vindhya Bachao Abhiyan, works for environmental equity through research-based environmental litigation, support for grass-root environmental movements and protection of the rights of nature-dependent indigenous communities.

The foundation carries out natural history research, including wildlife inventories and camera-trap surveys of forests in Mirzapur, and has challenged coal power and dam projects before the National Green Tribunal. It also reviews draft environmental laws and sends representations to government bodies on conservation issues, and it has partnered with organisations such as WWF-India and the Wildlife Trust of India on published studies.
