UK Anti-Corruption Coalition

Description

The UK Anti-Corruption Coalition is a coalition of UK organisations working to reduce corruption. It gives its member organisations a shared platform to jointly influence policy. Members work collaboratively, drawing on years of collective expertise from across the anti-corruption sector.

The coalition aims to reduce corruption within the UK, hold the UK government to account, and push the UK to do more to reduce corruption abroad. It works to develop a shared and coherent anti-corruption agenda among its members. It then advocates for that agenda to be put into practice.

It influences policy through letters, briefings, joint statements, and submissions to government inquiries and consultations. Recent work has covered illicit finance, procurement failures exposed by the Covid-19 inquiry, and calls for stronger UK leadership against dirty money. Its stated vision is for the UK to become a global leader in integrity, both by cutting domestic corruption and by curbing the UK’s role in facilitating corruption internationally.
