Description

The Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership, known as TRCP, is a conservation coalition working to guarantee Americans quality places to hunt and fish.

It unites and amplifies the voices of partner groups, working with dozens of hunting, fishing and conservation organizations to strengthen a shared sportsman’s voice in Washington. It advocates for policy on public lands access, habitat, clean water and farm bill conservation programs, and it has lobbied on climate change and helped form a coalition on responsible energy development. It backs its advocacy with science, publishing research summaries and running a science speaker series to inform conservation policy.

TRCP works across the United States, from Alaska and the Pacific Northwest to the Mississippi River Delta and the Colorado River watershed, and maintains offices in Washington, DC and Missoula, Montana. It is a non-profit coalition of conservation organizations, grassroots partners and outdoor-related businesses.

The organization was founded around the legacy of Theodore Roosevelt’s conservation views and works with a network of partner groups to protect habitat and hunting and fishing access for future generations.
