Spotlight on Corruption is a UK charity that works to end corruption connected to the United Kingdom, both at home and abroad. It aims for a society with strong, transparent and accountable institutions in which corruption is not tolerated and democracy can flourish, in the UK and globally.

It highlights corruption and the harm it causes. It campaigns to improve the UK’s legal systems and law enforcement. It does this through detailed, evidence based research on how the UK implements its anti-corruption laws and international commitments.

It also runs a court monitoring programme that tracks, analyses and shares information on how UK courts handle corruption cases. This includes trackers covering money laundering, bribery enforcement, asset recovery, fraud enforcement and anti-money laundering supervision, plus a court calendar and coverage of sanctions cases.

It communicates its findings to policymakers, MPs, civil servants, NGOs and the public, to influence decision making and push for legal reform. It publishes reports, briefings and submissions.

Spotlight on Corruption is registered as a charitable company in England and Wales, and is based in London. It is small in scale, and says it does not have the capacity to investigate individual cases or give legal advice.
