Description

iMEdD, the Incubator for Media Education and Development, is a non-profit organization. It was founded in 2018 with the exclusive donation of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation. It supports journalists, students and media professionals by acting as an incubator. It provides the tools, training and opportunities needed to enhance transparency and credibility in journalistic work.

It is committed to advancing quality journalism. It fosters a community of journalists by promoting collaboration, encouraging synergies among them, and supporting innovative projects that reshape media practices. Its activities include an Incubator program for journalistic projects, co-productions, and the creation of its own original journalistic content.

iMEdD also organizes events and workshops that train members of the journalistic community in the latest tools and practices. These draw on experts from various fields within journalism. It is based in Athens, Greece.
