FRONTSTORY.PL is an online investigative journalism outlet published by Fundacja Reporterów (the Reporters’ Foundation), based in Warsaw, Poland. It grew out of the foundation’s passion for investigative reporting, which it treats as a public good. This means watching those in power, exposing corruption and crime, revealing the mechanisms of disinformation, and telling compelling stories.

The outlet values accuracy and credibility over chasing breaking news. It takes time to dig into topics and verify information. It uses modern investigative and open-source (OSINT) techniques.

Its stories often cross Poland’s borders. The team works in international investigative collectives and partners with the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project. It also runs vsquare.org, an English-language site covering Central Europe, including Russian propaganda, Chinese influence and investment, the militarization of patriotism, and the growth of ultraconservative organizations in the region.

Its reporters’ work has won major Polish journalism awards. It has been published by outlets such as Gazeta Wyborcza, Newsweek, TVN24.pl, Onet and WP. It has been cited by The Guardian, The Washington Post and Buzzfeed.

Fundacja Reporterów is a non-profit organization, not a business venture or public institution. It receives no state subsidies. It relies on grants won in international competitions and on reader support.
