Transparency International EU

Description

Transparency International EU is the Brussels-based European Union office of the global anti-corruption movement Transparency International. It works on the fight against corruption in the EU. Its focus areas cover EU political integrity, financial and business integrity, and the rule of law and civic space.

It publishes research and news updates on anti-corruption developments in the EU. It also produces an EU-focused tool called Integrity Watch. The organization works with a team, is overseen by a governance structure, and reports on who funds and supports it.

It builds coalitions with other organisations across Europe to campaign for an EU free of corruption. It describes holding itself accountable to the same standards it advocates for, through published accountability and ethics commitments. It also coordinates with national Transparency International chapters in EU member states.

Transparency International EU is based in Brussels, Belgium, and is listed on the EU Transparency Register.
