Transparency and Anti-Corruption Organizations Austria

Description

Transparency International Austrian Chapter (TI-Austria) is the Austrian branch of Transparency International. Transparency International is a non-profit, politically independent movement that campaigns worldwide against corruption and for greater transparency. TI-Austria carries out this mission within Austria.

Transparency International cooperates with numerous national and international bodies. These include the European Union, the United Nations, the OECD, the World Bank, regional development banks and the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris. It provides the secretariat for the International Anti-Corruption Conference, which is held every two years with broad international participation.

TI-Austria is organised as a registered association. Its governance bodies include a board, an advisory council and an office. It maintains statutes and other founding documents, alongside annual reports describing its funding and activities. Its office is located in Vienna.

TI-Austria’s work spans its vision, mission and values, its goals and activities, its funding, its history and its organisational structure. This positions the chapter as part of a global network devoted to fighting corruption and promoting transparency in public and private life.
