Description

The Ditch is an Irish outlet for news and comment, run by Ditch Media Ltd. It is led by two journalists.

Eoghan McNeill, from Donegal, is co-founder and editor. His news, feature and culture writing has appeared in the Irish Independent, China Daily and the Cork News, and he focuses on stories that show how power operates.

Paulie Doyle is an investigative journalist whose work has appeared in VICE, Jacobin and the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project, and he focuses on stories that reveal the inner workings of the media. Together they produce news and comment pieces for the outlet’s website.

The Ditch supports the work of the Press Council of Ireland and the Office of the Press Ombudsman. It operates within the Press Council’s code of practice.
