Description

Réseau Environnement Santé, known as RES, is a French association working on environmental health.

Its motto is that our environment is our health. RES places environmental health at the center of public policy in France. It acts as a general-purpose association on environmental health issues, translating scientific data into language the public can understand. The network runs information campaigns on how pollution and environmental stress affect human health and the health of ecosystems.

It also proposes concrete, everyday solutions that let people limit their exposure to harmful substances. RES says it was behind the 2010 French ban on Bisphenol A. It also says it drove the introduction of France’s National Strategy on Endocrine Disruptors. France’s Ministry of Health approved RES as an environmental health association in February 2023.

The association was founded in 2009 and is based in Paris. It says it depends on public support to remain an independent voice on environmental health.
