Let's Do It! World

Description

Let’s Do It World is a non-governmental, cross-border civic organisation with a network in more than 164 countries.

It mobilizes people worldwide to join local, national and regional clean-up events, working to restore a clean and healthy world through collective action and partnerships. Its mission is to empower individuals, communities, organisations and governments to drive positive change through cross-sector cooperation. It is the founder of World Cleanup Day, which brought together a network of participating countries with millions of volunteers taking part in a single day.

The movement began in Estonia in 2008 with a national clean-up action called Let’s do it!, which inspired similar clean-up events in other countries. The first World Cleanup Day took place in 2018, and in 2024 it mobilised millions as a UN International Day for the first time. Let’s Do It World is an accredited member of the United Nations Environment Programme. It is based in Tallinn, Estonia.
