Islamic Human Rights Commission, IHRC, is an independent campaign, research and advocacy organisation that works for justice for all people regardless of racial, religious or political background.

It was set up in 1997 by a group of activists seeking to advocate for and defend human rights from an Islamic perspective, and it holds Special Consultative Status with the UN Economic and Social Council. It is based in North West London. Its volunteers and campaigners come from many countries and backgrounds.

Its research work covers Islamophobia, discrimination, citizenship and racism, and its findings have been presented to the United Nations, the European Union and the International Criminal Court. It runs education programmes, workshops and events, and operates a bookshop offering decolonial, political and Islamic publications. It provides a free, impartial advocacy service to help people facing racial or religious discrimination in housing, education, policing and other public services, and it lobbies governments and institutions on issues including Palestine, Yemen, Kashmir and anti-terrorism law.

It is funded primarily by community donations, along with some institutional grants, and does not accept funding from any government.
