Reporter.lu is an independent digital magazine based in Luxembourg, published by Reporter Media SARL-S. It offers critical analysis, in-depth reportage and investigative research on political, economic, social and cultural topics, without following the news cycle.

The outlet was founded in 2018 by Christoph Bumb and Laurence Bervard after a successful crowdfunding campaign. Together with Laurent Schmit, they are the sole partners of Reporter Media and the publishers of Reporter.lu.

Reporter.lu describes itself as independent and free of advertising, answerable only to its subscribers. It is financed entirely through subscriptions, donations and state press aid, which it says frees it from political and ideological influence. Its journalists say they work independently, impartially and without a political agenda, owned by themselves rather than by parties, ideologies or advertisers, and committed to the public interest.

The team says its investigations expose wrongdoing, create transparency and demand political accountability.
