Description

Institutet Mot Mutor (IMM) is a Swedish business organisation that works to build trust in society. It does this by counteracting corruption and helping actors across society do the right thing. It has existed since 1923.

IMM spreads information and knowledge about what corruption is and how it can be prevented. It works on self-regulation, chiefly through the Code Against Corruption in Business, known as the Näringslivskoden. This is a code of conduct against corruption in commercial life.

The organisation maintains a knowledge bank on corruption prevention aimed at businesses and other actors in Swedish society. It publishes annual activity reports and its own statutes. It has supporting member organisations and partner organisations, including companies, that back its work financially and otherwise.

IMM is based in Stockholm. Its secretariat handles day to day operations and includes a Secretary General and a communications officer.
