The Center for Democracy and Human Rights in Saudi Arabia is a nonprofit educational organization that researches and advocates for democratic and human rights reform in Saudi Arabia. It was founded in Washington, DC in 2004, in the aftermath of the September 11 attacks. It works to inform policymakers, media and the public about Saudi politics and society.

The center gathers and analyzes information on Saudi Arabia’s domestic and foreign policy and shares it through a newsletter, website and public discussions. It organizes conferences and roundtable discussions presenting different perspectives on Saudi policy and US-Saudi relations. It also networks with human rights groups, think tanks and congressional staff in Washington.

Its advocacy focuses on political reform, religious freedom, women’s rights, minority rights and economic reform. It calls for a pluralistic, democratic Saudi Arabia governed by the rule of law, with free elections and a constitution approved by referendum. It documents discrimination against religious and ethnic minorities and the mistreatment of foreign workers, and campaigns for gender equality and an end to restrictions on women.
